The final battle between Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi in 1977's STAR WARS was originally hindered by the technology of the time. The lightsaber props were made of wood and broke constantly whenever the actors would strike against it. For The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, the lightsaber duels were faster and more intense partially because the prop blades were made of a more sturdy material (Carbon Fiber) and thus broke less frequently. This is an edit of the duel between Kenobi and Vader to match the speed and ferocity of Empire and Jedi while also bridging the movie with REVENGE OF THE SITH. The scene has also been remixed with more intense Sound FX to increase the ferocity of the duel.
