It is now 2025, and every day I spend anxious to better my craft of filmmaking and telling for what it is. I made this video to encapsulate another year of travel, but this one was quite special. I had purchased my camera, a Sony A7iv and that completely changed everything for me. Because now, I had an extremely capable tool to create income while doing what I loved to do. And there’s many ways you can do this, but this is just the route I went down due to my circumstances. I was extremely intimidated by this as someone who’s not naturally compatible with technology, spending almost my whole bank account on a camera setup. I absolutely could not tell you how about any of the settings on a camera for the life of me. But having the right people around me, and creating new things along side them every week helped me to progress quickly. Flash forward to now and that scary purchase at the time, has generated for me a whole new life including a new outlet to tell my stories through, as well as a way to generate income to build the future that I envision for myself. I’m someone who needs to take baby steps because I get overwhelmed by thinking of multiple different things I need to do so, I have a really long ways to go as far as becoming the creator I want to be. But, it’s also nice to look back and be able to see tangible progress. I hope this reaches the right person as it’s in the messages I receive telling me my video urged them to make the jump that keeps my motor running strong. Cheers everybody.
