I'm Connor and I am 11 years old and in the 5th grade. I enjoy fishing, riding my dirt bike. I love log trucks and any kind of heavy equipment. Hauling hay is more like a hobby to me. We have been busy this week. We have hauled a few loads of our slabs from the sawmill. We haul those to a charcoal plant. THe plant will burn theses slabs down and what is left will be charcoal. We have been cutting some timber on our place this week. Today COn cut the fence so we can skid up the hill. Dad is talking abput 3 things that will make you alot of money if you make your living using a chainsaw. Dont find yourself back in the wood without your files and chainsaw wrench. Those will be the most important things you have with you besides your gas and oil of course. We are running the @stihl 500i today. We had some trouble with the winch this week. When it gets wet it wants to slip. We worked on it some and got it back going. It seems to be holding real good right now. If you would go over to @nuts319 channel and show them some love. If you can donate to this fellow logger. He was in a bad logging accident 10 days ago. Last I have heard he was doing good and was fixing to get out of icu. Description: Hi friends, here again today with another short little video. We got a nasty winter storm here in Tennessee Sunday night. The temps have been at a dangerous low. Currently it is 7 degress. We started getting snowfall Sunday night around 6pm. THere has alot of wrecks on these snow covered roads. ALot of business and roads have been closed due to this storm. We are just hunkered down and riding the storm out. No logging or sawmilling going on here. The snow started days ago, I dont even remember at this point lol. We have been sitting in the house just watching it snow and enduring these high winds. THe winds being high has been a ordeal to keep the house warm. We have ate and ate and ate haha. We will be needing new clothes by the time this is over. It is Sunday Jan. 21, 2024 and its currenty warmed up to 28 degrees. That is a plus as we have been in the teens for days. Chloe was at work on Thursday and was to get off at 5 pm. The weather station was calling for ice so they dismissed at 4pm. We had just got home from getting some groceries so Landon went back to get her and it had sarted to mist rain and the roads had gotten really really bad quick. Landon started sliding and came back, dad decided he would go try to pick her up and we actually made it but it took 2 hours to accomplish a 30 min trip. I hope you enjoy the video today. IT is a chilly 17 degrees here in Tennessee today. He was trying to do some winter prep with his firewood. We was able to get this order to him just a couple weeks before this snow storm has hit Tennessee. We have several inches of snow on right now.
