His spoken word output is notoriously prolific and he continues to thrill audiences as vocalist for Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine. <video> Alternative Tentatcles 45th Anniversary "Winston Smith Bat Show" Description: We are partnering with Winston Smith’s Studio Fallout for the second time with to present The Bat Show Redux, featuring a retrospective of the Winston Smith original “bat” icon plus new artist interpretations. This time, we are celebrating our 45th Anniversary - “Giving Art a Bad Name since 1979.” We are calling for our artist friends to submit their own version of the bat to be on display for the exhibition - and that means YOU! 🫵 There are very few restrictions; we are open to any interpretation and any medium, as long as it is inspired by the original logo. We just ask that it be no bigger than 12”x12”. If you have a vision for your piece that is larger than 12”x12” please let us know and we’ll make a plan. This is a pop-up and we will be selling right off the walls. Please let us know if you’d like us to hang on to your piece after December 7th.
