Andy </video> <video> Larry the Carry steering joints replacement #1522 Description: So 'Larry' the 1997 Suzuki Carry failed the WoF inspection...DAMN! I didn't see that coming. The little truck is in really good condition but I guess things are starting to wear out after 27 years of bouncing around New Zealand. The Inspector found a worn steering joint, sounds plausable as the handling has always been, well, pretty crap if I'm honest wander from side to side was certainly evident. Lets get this little truck jacked up & inspect the steering linkage - who knows, there may be more issues than what the WoF guy spotted. This video covers how to check steering joints (ball joints & bushes) for play & how to replace them too. Andy </video> <video> CVT Special tools - Primary sheave holders #1052 Description: Over the years , as many mechanics do, I have made many 'Special Tools' to help make jobs easier, saving time & ensuring the job is done correctly. These Primary Sheave holders are ideal for holding the primary sheaves of the Viking & Wolverine X2 & X4 models securly whilst setting the torque to the retaining nut - the original tool, a 'band clamp' style tool just wasn't up to the job, fiddly to install & would often slip resulting in the risk of injury. I have been asked by a number of Techs to make these tools available for them to purchase so I decided recently to have them made up & available for purchase. So, if you work on your own a Yamaha ATV or RoV or work in a workshop servicing these models then these are a real game changer.
