The enemies here are very strong, so endgame stats and equipment are recommended. The Amygdala transports us to what is essentially hell for hunters. Important to note is that you must equip the Impurity rune and have Valtr survive both of this area's boss fights, and kill the red-eyed hunters, unless you are okay with online engagement. For the sake of this guide, I will be showing off the method that allows you to complete as much as possible offline. BOSSES KILLED: -Ludwig the Accursed/Holy Blade -Laurence, the First Vicar SIDEQUESTS: -Talked to the Harrowed Hunter in the Nightmare Oedon Chapel corridor -Killed Ludwig's severed head after giving him peace. If you don't care to acquire every item, the Forbidden Woods is a series of fairly linear combat challenges, but going for every item makes you appreciate its mazelike layout more. Getting through a significant portion of the woods without dying to the countless enemies can be very challenging. In addition, I decide to show off how differently a boss fight can play out if you decide to summon help instead of going alone, but I do complete it alone to demonstrate. BOSSES KILLED: -Shadows of Yharnam SIDEQUESTS: -Sent the Strange Beggar to Iosefka's Clinic -Joined the League and acquired the "Impurity" oath rune -Discovered the Beggar as a celestial child in the back of the clinic, then killed him for a rune. Had he been sent to Oedon Chapel he would've started murdering the survivors, but would hand over their drops and some beast blood pellets. </video> <video> Bloodborne [Part 10 - Lecture Building 1F and Nightmare Frontier] Description: We enter into my least favorite area in the entire game. You're technically able to access this area as soon as you beat Vicar Amelia, but fuck getting past the Winter Lanterns when you don't have access to sedatives, I'm not gonna give up eight blood vials just to kill them with minimal health loss. BOSSES KILLED: -Amygdala SIDEQUESTS: -Got kicked down a hole by Patches </video> <video> Bloodborne [Part 11 - Yahar'gul, Unseen Village and Lecture Building 2F] Description: We enter the last big difficulty spike in the game in the form of Yahar'gul. The enemies in this area do high damage, are fast, and the streets outside the chapel prison are loaded with enemies that are very resistant to stagger. Thankfully, the Chikage's 100% blood damage transformed mode can make short work of them. In addition, we explore the lecture hall's upper floor and get even. BOSSES KILLED: -The One Reborn SIDEQUESTS: -Acquired the "Beg for Life" gesture and "Anti-Clockwise Metamorphosis" runes from Patches -Helped Eileen kill the Bloody Crow of Cainhurst and acquired the "Hunter" oath rune </video> <video> Bloodborne [Part 15 - Fishing Hamlet] Description: We head into coastal Florida to discover the truth of the Hunter's Nightmare. (Killing him in the prison before encountering these points will cause his equipment to drop where he would ordinarily spawn.
