At this airport, you will see a huge amount of international airlines from all over the United States, Asia, Africa and the middle east. The traffic consists mostly of Air France aircraft as you will see in this video. We take you back to summer of 2023 in this video, where both myself and @HDMelbourneAviation explored different angles to film from to keep the CDG footage fresh. Due to on-going construction, we found some great elevated places along the northern side of the airport, however, we still had no luck with the southern side! The purpose of this video is to showcase one of the worlds busiest airports in the eyes of a plane spotter. I filmed this whole video over the course of a few days. This video features a couple of takeoffs but mostly landings, all from the same spot, as it is the heavily used runway choice and provides an awesome view right up close! I filmed around the entire airport, although found the little cafe beside runway 16R/32L to be my favourite spot! Amsterdam is KLMs home base and also known as a heaven for plane spotting, with very unobstructed views due to canals separating airside and landslide instead of fences, making from some great shots! For your vewing pleasure, I have mixed and matched videos filmed on two busy days at AMS, one day filmed from the famous Polderbaan bike trail and the other filmed from various other locations and runways around the airport, most notibly the P3 carpark for 18L departures, down the end of Beechavenue for runway 24 depatures and along Tweeduizend El for 18C landings! Amsterdam for most is a plane spotters heaven as I said above, but for me its a very anxiety inducing airport to spot at. The locals have a saying when spotting at AMS, that you are "playing runway roullete" as they love to swap runway configerations out of no where. Amsterdam has SIX runways and some of them can take up to 30 minutes to get to from one an other. This means you better hope that the plane you're after doesn't land during a runway change! You will notice a lot of KLM international flights in this video and also US airlines, as that was when most of those land at AMS. The morning rush truly is busy and as an Australian plane spotter, something really cool to experience! I produced this video with the intention of bringing Amsterdam plane spotting, raw, uncut and real to your living room! I stood out in the rain, wind and cold so you don't have to. This was filmed alongside other great plane spotting channels @V1aviation @HDMelbourneAviation @PlaneSpottingBerlin @AmsterdamAviationYT and they have some similar and amazing perspectives on their channels from these days!
