Justice Anuja Prabhudessai on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 5:00 pm in the Bar Association premises. </video> <video> FROM BANDS TO BICYCLE- Phiroze Palkhivala Description: On 24th January 2021, our member Mr. Phiroze Palkhivala embarked on a unique journey that is as fascinating, as it is gruelling, both physically and mentally. He swapped his bands and gown for a bicycle and luggage weighing 50-60 kgs, which included everything that he would require to sustain himself in this pursuit of happiness and freedom. Starting from Mumbai, he headed towards Gujarat and onwards to Rajasthan, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Haryana and Uttarakhand. In the bargain, he has completed approximately 19,000 kms on a bicycle from January 2021 until present and will be continuing his journey shortly. Currently in Mumbai for personal commitments, he has graciously agreed to satisfy our members’ curiosity about his expedition, which has been pursued with a passion for life itself. The road has brought several challenges, including having his belongings stolen and having to push his bicycle for many kms up steep Himalayan inclines where the air is thin and the roads, treacherous. </video>
