Companions are not allowed, but if an NPC who isn’t my companion by the terms of the game inflicts damage, that’s fine. - I must play on Very Hard difficulty at all times, no exceptions. - I must wear the Mario outfit and hat at all times, no exceptions. - I can spawn in the Jetpack and Explosive Vents at the start as those require a lot of grinding to obtain. If I grinded to get to that level, I would be over-leveled for the main story and the challenge would become much too easy.
