Krippel Ph.D. Biography Born and raised in Illinois. Attended the University of Oklahoma on an athletic scholarship. Graduated with an Undergraduate Degree in Accounting; also completed an MBA, both from the University of Oklahoma. My first employment was as an assistant auditor for Arthur Andersen LLC in Oklahoma City. My next employment was as a production supervisor at Container Corporation of America. Inc in Carol Stream, IL. My next position was as a Fuel Trader with Koch Carbon Inc. based in Oakbrook, IL. I return to extend my education by attaining a Ph.D. in Accounting at The Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. Became an Assistant Accounting Professor at Auburn University AL. My final place of employment was at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC, first as an Assistant Accounting Professor, then as an Associate Accounting Professor with tenure, and then became a full Accounting Professor and Accounting Department Chair for several years. Worked 32 years in academia. Coastal Carolina University honored me at retirement with the title of Distinguished Professor Emeritus.
