Description: Hazbin Hotel Ending Explained & Finale Recap - Here's my brief review on Hazbin Hotel Series! Is Adam Dead? - The final episodes of Hazbin Hotel are out, and I found them to be quite exciting, to say the very least. The battle between Hell and Heaven in a musical format with quite a bit of swearing was pretty interesting to see, and even though I didn’t enjoy some parts, the philosophy of the show is something that could have worked in a feature film too. It’s the joy and fun plus the total abandon that animation brings that perhaps the live action may not have been able to match up to. In the previous episodes, Charlie’s plans had failed up to the point that Adam was more eager than ever to come down to Hell with his army and take part in the semi-annual extermination. Now only a few days remain, and we will see how the battle between Hell and Heaven goes down. Charlie had yet to get over the fact that Vaggie was a former angel. This thought was taking a toll on her mind, but she knew she had other things to worry about. Alastor, one of the most powerful overlords in Hell, deemed this opportunity good enough to get Charlie to do something she might not have done otherwise. He was in the soul-owning business, but that was not what he wanted from Charlie. He wanted her to do him a few favors whenever he asked them of her in exchange for information about how angels could be killed. </video> <video> Webweiver vs Homelander! Who Won? Description: Most importantly, A-Train steps in along with MM to save everyone when Deep (Chace Crawford) and Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell) attack Annie and The Boys on Homelander’s orders. It also means Vought overlord and Seven leader Homelander finds out who the hell the leak finally is (he killed Cameron and Web Weaver for no good reason). If only Sage had told him sooner that she knew A-Train was responsible and he was her perfect “misinformation delivery system.” She tries to convince him but Homelander doesn’t give a damn. (No, really, he refuses Firecracker’s breast milk, that’s how irritated he is). Instead, Homelander fires Sage from The Seven. It’s clear The Boys doesn’t know how to develop its female Supes properly; just look at Starlight struggling to depict her strength. Sage is in a similar boat. She regains her faculties after that gunshot wound to her brain last week, but it doesn’t explain why she didn’t let Homelander in on her plan in regards to A-Train. Did she assume he wouldn’t allow it? Or that he’d pat her on the back when she delivered results? For being the world’s smartest Supe, neither option makes sense for her because she knows Homelander is an impulsive maniac. You all know I’ve been hoping for a plot twist where she’s got another agenda. With her gone (please let it be temporary), will that arc lead anywhere with only one episode to go? And what happens to their January 6 plan? </video> <video> Mother's Milk Vs Sister Sage?! Who won eventually? Description: The scene is played for laughs, but it's not all that funny, nor is it as boundary-pushing or shocking as The Boys seems to think it is. That Hughie is essentially being sexually assaulted is of no concern in the scene and while that topic is not outside the show's wheelhouse, it does feel especially strange in this instance. Peppered in with some vicious racism from Tek Knight (more "satire" I'm sure), and the whole dungeon scene leaves a bad taste. If it weren't discomforting, it would just be boring. Elsewhere, it is revealed that Homelander's plan actually involves Tek Knight because of the latter's empire of private prisons in the United States. Homelander and Sage plan to imprison political dissenters and Tek Knight is more than willing to help. As the only other revelation in the episode, it's a startling one, and it illuminates more of Homelander's plan that will presumably come to a head on January 6th, the date the finale is leading up to. </video> <video> The Boys 4x07 - Hughie & Starlight! Are they going to be together? Description: In its fourth season, The Boys has shown some signs of wear and tear. Its social commentary has grown stale no matter how prescient it seems to be, and the scenes meant to shock and awe have either not topped what's come before or have been surprisingly tone-deaf (Hughie's sexual torture being the worst of it). Episdoe 7 doesn't fix all of these mistakes, but it sets up a finale that could change everything. The gloves are off and Homelander has sent The Deep and Black Noir to attack Butcher and Annie. A-Train has been exposed as the leak. Sister Sage has been fired. Annie has been kidnapped and is seemingly a part of whatever the plan is for January 6. In a season that has felt motionless at times, The Boys finally feels like it has some life in it again. The Boys season 4 episode 7 is now streaming on Prime Video. </video>
