Channel Title: Coils & Curls Channel Description: I’m a Curldresser, a curl specialist, if you will, who at 56 saw that us maturing curlies were not represented on YouTube. I have been in the Beauty Industry since 1984 working in all segments, skincare, nails and hair. I had been cutting my own curls dry for over a decade before I received my Deva curl certification in 2008. Who knew back then!?! My mission is in finding clean, healthier products to use in our “Golden” years without the chemicals. In January 2022 I launched my channel. I wanted to bridge the gap of content out there for those of us not in our 20’s anymore. Between our thinning curls, graying curls, changing curls (hormones, chemicals, medications), new curls compliments of chemo, etc. there’s a lot to learn to embrace our ever changing curls and to not be intimidated by them. I’m a Curldresser, a curl specialist, if you will, who at 56 saw that us maturing curlies were not represented on YouTube.
I have been in the Beauty Industry since 1984 working in all segments, skincare, nails and hair. I had been cutting my own curls dry for over a decade before I received my Deva curl certification in 2008. Who knew back then!?!
My mission is in finding clean, healthier products to use in our “Golden” years without the chemicals.
In January 2022 I launched my channel. I wanted to bridge the gap of content out there for those of us not in our 20’s anymore. Between our thinning curls, graying curls, changing curls (hormones, chemicals, medications), new curls compliments of chemo, etc. there’s a lot to learn to embrace our ever changing curls and to not be intimidated by them. We are the boss of our curls...sometimes.

I’ll be uploading new videos every “Wild Curl Wednesday” so that “my curlies” have the weekend to practice any tips that resonate with their needs.
