By measuring the voltages of an array of flex sensors, we are able to determine changes in tendon flexure and muscle movements on a user’s arm. Based on calibration data, we can then determine what hand or finger movement occurred, if any. The core processor (Cortex M0) signals the PIO that a new speed/direction is ready, pushes two 32 bit words onto the PIO FIFO, then just waits for user input. The PIO sequences and times the pulses until notified there is more new data. More to come next semester. </video> <video> Mandelbrot on Pi rp2350 Description: To test the performance of the the rp2350, the top half of the Mandelbrot Set is computed in s4x28 fixed point, and the bottom in floating point. Fixed is 5 times faster than rp2040. Float is 35 times faster. It includes open-loop feedback using a color sensor to correct the generated color, making it as accurate as possible. </video>
