I only hope it will help some of you as well. It works on monitors, TVs, laptops, digital signage displays, smartphones, tablets, any display that has aspect ratio of 16:9 such as 1920x1080 (full HD), 2560x1440 (quad HD) or 3840x2160 (4K UHD). You can also use it for other aspect ratios as long as it is stretched to fit. Tests included are listed and briefly explained below. To greatly simplify it all - test the screen you want to check but also have the same running on e.g. your smartphone or tablet to check for anything unusual between the two.
