The engage as it comes off the shelf comes with a budget optic Bushnel engage 3-9x40 meant as an adequate option for someones first rifle and ready to shoot, the first thing i notices about this setup as i took it out of the box is nothing was torqued to specification the rings were loose around the scope, the rail (2 piece) was also very loose, on this point it was for the best that the rings were loose as e=verything needs to be torqued correctly on a rifle regadless of the company, take the scope/ scope rings off and torque the base and everything before use. There are many good and great aftermarket options out there, here are my favourites: -WOOX Furiosa Micarta: this chasis combines elegance and modern tech in the best way possible nothng looks this good and checks every box for longrange/PRS. -Tract Troic UHD 4-25x50: most optics at this price have all the features... Arken curently has the best budget precision optics, thats why this video includes all of them (except the EP4j). This video comparison should make it less challenging for you to decide. in short: Arken SH4J 6-24x50 (the most affordable of the precision optics) great tracking, great glass for the price.... but 8 mils per revolution, a bit of a drawback...
