As I mentioned in my community post, I'm hoping this will mark my grand return, and I intend to bring a new age of Exhibit A content. I'll be doing things differently from now on, but I'm hoping that'll be a good thing. As you can see, for this video I've dabbled in using visuals to enhance the experience and help with visualization. I'm thinking this is what I'll do from now on, at least for videos where the location changes often. This is also the most characters I've ever voiced in a single video! Including characters that only show up briefly, I technically voice 9 different people in this whole script. Wild, huh? You'll also notice, nothing particularly romantic happens within this first video. This will be my approach from now on, as usually a good romance takes time to develop. This is why most anime with romance take a while to "get to the point". In the past, I would rush the romance in my videos because I knew that was the appeal, and I didn't want to leave anyone dissatisfied. But from now on, I'm going to prioritize telling a good story, even if that means making people wait a while. Part 1: https://youtu.be/iBGzu8fn7qE EVALUATION: Woo, it's been too long, but at long last, I'm back. Hopefully I stay back for longer this time. I quite enjoyed making this video I have to say. When writing the script, I took a lot of inspiration from the Dark Knight, which may seem unrelated to this story, but I wanted to make Ace kind of similar to the Joker in the sense that he's an agent of chaos. He's nowhere near as insane or as amoral as the Joker, although that *may* change in the future, as I plan to have his mental state deteriorate as the series goes on for reasons I will not spoil. I really wanted him to come across as someone who knows how to be intimidating, but knows how to be loving towards people who appreciate him and don't treat him like a villain. He's easily my most complex character so far and I haven't even scratched the surface in terms of what I've revealed of his nature and personality. The nightclub scene was heavily inspired by the nightclub scene from John Wick, and I implemented that part of the story purely so I could try to replicate the high adrenaline action of having a shootout while music is blaring all around you. I hoped to evoke some nostalgia with the bathroom scene with the muffled music, as that's a sound that many people associate with moments in their real life. I feel like I did a good job, though I find it hard to be certain. The fact that I did the voices of all the characters is a questionable decision, and I'm not sure if the other characters sound very good - especially the bank manager Ben, who just sounds like a whiny cowboy. If there's one thing that may have ruined the quality of this, it'd be that. Let me know if those voices sound acceptable to you. Here's an interesting fact. The part 2 for the Bank Robber series (this video) was rewritten a couple different times. Ages ago, I had a completely different script written out, where the events were totally different from what happens in this video, but I scrapped that entire script because I didn't like it. So that's another reason why it's taken so long for this series to be continued, aside from my general laziness. I think what I went with here has a better vision for the series as a whole and actually explains character backstories. Just for fun, I decided to put that bit at the end of me singing. I thought it might spice up the video a little. Lemme know if you want me to keep doing that. The singing was a bit rough, I didn't practice for it in advance like I usually do if I'm putting singing into a video. Thanks for sticking with me. This video was actually unscripted and improvised. I wanted to try out doing an improvised script since that would be simpler than writing out a script and thus might make it possible for me to put out more frequent uploads. I've been having trouble with motivation lately. On top of that, one thing lead to another, I got distracted by some other stuff, then proceeded to not return to YouTubing for a while. And being away from it only made it harder to get back into it since my skills had degraded. But now I'm back? I guess? I've decided to stop making guarantees since I always seem to mess it up somehow. I'm just gonna keep trying at it and not say anything. I've been thinking a lot about my future on YouTube. About whether I really want to continue doing this specific brand of storytelling, or if I maybe want to find a new way to use that side of my brain. I've been feeling less motivated lately, and I dunno if that's just a temporary thing. Thing is, either way, I do want to continue doing stuff on YouTube in some form. I like being a YouTuber and it feels like a good future for me. But it's possible I want to try doing other things on YouTube. As for what exactly, I'm not sure. I guess that's the predicament I'm in right now. I'm considering starting alternate channels where I do slightly different stuff to what I do here. I'll need to think it through some more. One of the things I've done over these past few months is start working on a game. Some friends have play tested it and they seem to like it. The plot of the game is that you suddenly find that every time you go through a door, it takes you to a random room somewhere in the world. And you have to keep going from room to room, going deeper into liminal space until you find the "final door". Along the way you encounter dangerous entities and unspeakable horrors normally unknown or invisible to mankind. For a while I was working on that pretty passionately but I've become less interested. I hope I get back to it sometime. I might let you guys try it out sometime if you're interested. Then again, I don't know how many of you actually read this far into the description LOL. Most people will have gotten bored of my rambling by now. Anyways...I guess that's all I have to say. To those of you in a phase of your life where you're trying to figure yourself out, I wish you luck. It's a little bumpy for me but it could be a lot worse. Just know that you're not the only one, okay? It's easy to feel alone but you really shouldn't. We're all in this together. I think. Being human is both a blessing and a curse. From now on, I plan to do this sometimes so that I can provide extra content in between my usual creations. I know some of you may be disappointed that it's not all my own content anymore, and that these videos deviate a little from my usual dramatic style, but be assured that the usual stuff will come out at the exact same rate as it would've otherwise. EVALUATION: Now, looking at this script gave me a taste of voicing a style of script that wasn't my own. There are a lot of things I could learn from Lupinstolemyheart. The dialogue in this script is much more naturalistic than my own scripts, and sounds much more like words you'd really hear someone say in real life. On the other hand, the characters in my scripts say strange things like "What? What do you mean you don't want to drive the car?" because I'm often repeating what the listener said so that the audience knows what the listener said. This isn't how people talk in real life, or even in anime or TV shows. This script is on the other hand is far more subtle, never actually directly repeating words in this unrealistic manner and instead opting to say things that help the listener infer what may have been said. This is a more intelligent way of going about it, and I could certainly benefit from learning to better do this in my own scripts. Hello, I'm Exhibit A! I make Audio Roleplay ASMR videos, designed to immerse you in wish-fulfillment situations you'll wish would actually happen to you.

I have a very particular set of skills. I'm too bad of a writer to make novels, but I'm just good enough at writing that I make decent audio roleplays. That, combined with the particular editing style I've developed, seems to make up my current YouTube personality.

My goal is to become a well known and involved member of the Audio RP community. I hope to start big collab projects that involve many other VAs and create types of content that have never been seen before. I wanna create experiences that make people feel amazed and work with others to redefine what an Audio Roleplay can truly be. I also have the selfish goal of being admired and looked up to by people all around the world, and becoming a great leader who makes big things happen.
