Description: This year's pigs have moved into the next paddock. We are building the paddocks as the pigs grow. Hog panels have gone up in price 50% over the last ones we bought. Wow. Feed too has gone up by about that much as well. So each month we buy few more panels and expand the panels. We have expanded with a new garden and orchard so mostly we have been buying tee posts and garden fencing. That being completed now, we are turning our attention to building out the new pig paddocks. </video> <video> April chick hatch 2023 Description: A quick look at the newest batch of chicks hatched in our incubator </video> <video> Getting Fruit Trees for the Orchard Description: It was a rainy day when I got the call to come pick up the fruit trees Michael and I had ordered in February. These are all planted, watered in and ready to grow. Mostly its poultry here on this channel but we do other things as well. </video> <video> Kris Gets Out on the Homestead First Time in Years Description: Nearly three years ago, Kris has back surgery for a bacterial infection that has her with very limited mobility. With a new power chair she is finally able to get around here at home in a way that she hasn't been able to do since. We tour around with her as she is finally out and about. </video>
