Thanks for joining us for another video, cheers! 📌GET YOUR 2025 HOME FREE ALASKA CALENDAR HERE! ➡️https://www.createphotocalendars.com/Shop/homefreealaska CHILI SEASONING RECIPE: 2 TBS chili powder 2 TBS unsweetened cocoa powder 2 tsp dried minced onion 1 tsp dried Mexican oregano or Italian seasoning 1 tsp ground cumin 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper GF CORNBREAD MUFFINS: 1 cup gluten-free all purpose flour (I use Bob's red Mill) 1 cup cornmeal 1/2 cup sugar or honey 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp xanthan, gum, if you were gluten-free flour blend already contains this, omit this ingredient. 1 cup, buttermilk, or milk Kiefer 1/4 cup butter melted, (half stick) 2 eggs How to make them : 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare muffin sheet with 12 standard muffin cups or grease. 2. Combine flour blend, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and xanthan gum in large bowl. Whisk, buttermilk or Kiefer, butter and eggs in medium bowl; stir into dry ingredients until well blended. Batter will be thick. 3. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups filling 1/2 way. Bake 15 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned and toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. I always check mine at 15 min & they're done, all depends on your oven! Use my link for 10% OFF your entire order! 👉 http://www.toupsandco.com/homefreealaska 🏷 USE COUPON CODE: "HOMEFREEALASKA10” Shepherd's Pie ingredients: Olive oil (or cooking oil of preference) Salt & pepper About 6 russet potatoes (about 2-1/2 lbs) peeled & cut into chunks 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup heavy cream 2TBS butter 1 tsp nutmeg (optional) 2 lbs fresh green beans (ends snapped, cut into 2-inch pieces & steamed 1 small white onion diced up 1 garlic clove minced 2 carrots peeled and diced 1 bay leaf 2 lbs ground beef 2-1/2 TBS all purpose flour 3 TBS tomato paste 2 TBS hot water 1-1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce Dried or fresh parsley for garnish, you could also use minced chives How to make it: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Oil/grease 9X13 baking pan. 2. Add potatoes to a pot of water & boil/cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain & return to the pot. 3. Mash potatoes & add milk, heavy cream, butter, nutmeg & a dash of salt/pepper, mix well. Set aside. 4. If you haven't steamed your green beans, steam them now. I simply add about 2-3 TBS of water to a microwave safe dish with my green beans, cover with plastic wrap & microwave for about 4-5 minutes. Immediately remove from the microwave and strain them, allowing cold water to run over them for several minutes to stop the cooking process. Set aside. 5. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Stir in onion, carrots, garlic, and bay leaf & cook until vegetables begin to soften. Add the beef & cook, stirring until no longer pink. Pour off any standing liquid. 6. Push all ingredients to one side of the skillet. On the other side, add the tomato paste, flour, Worcestershire sauce, hot water & a pinch of salt & pepper. Stir until blended, then combine with the beef mixture. Cook until the mixture is thickened. Remove from heat. Remove & discard bay leaf. 7. Spread the beef mixture in the prepared baking dish & layer the green beans on top. 8. Spoon the mashed potatoes over the green beans & smooth the top. (You may cover at this point & refrigerate for 1 day before baking. Let it stand at room temp 1 hour before baking). 9. Dumplings: 1 1/4 cups gluten-free flour 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 cup warm water 1/2 TBS tallow melted 1 TBS psyllium husk 3 TBS warm water 1/2 tsp yeast 1/4 cup warm water 1/2 TBS honey Sweet Chili Sauce: 2/3 cup apple cider vinegar 2/3 cup water 2/3 cup date sugar or brown sugar 1 tsp red chili flakes 2 cloves garlic, minced 4 tsp tapioca starch or corn starch 1 tsp coconut amino 2 TBS maple syrup 1 TBS honey 1 TBS tomato paste 1. Prepare the meat filling by browning the beef. 2. Add in bone broth, water, garlic, ginger, salt, tapioca starch, Worcester sauce, fish sauce, and coconut amino. 3. Cook until ingredients are well combined and set aside. 4. Prepare the sweet chili sauce. The ingredients can be placed in a quart size jar and set aside until ready to be cooked and thickened prior to serving. 5. Combine all of the sauce ingredients and whisk them until they are well combined. Set aside. 6. Prepare the dumpling dough. 7. Prep the yeast by mixing it in warm water (1/4 cup) & honey. 8. Mix all the dry ingredients together and set aside. 9. When yeast has risen, prepare the husk + warm water (1TBS) & add husk gel and yeast to dry ingredients and mix well. 10. Roll out the dough as thin as it can get while still being able to lift it without breaking and cut into circles using a widemouth mason jar lid. 11. Take the circular dough cut out and roll it even thinner. 12. In the middle of the circle, place 1 TBS of meat and a pinch of cheese and then fold the dough in half. Press on the perimeter of the dough to seal the top half to the bottom half and set aside. 13. Once all of the dough is rolled, filled and sealed, heat up tallow on the stove top on medium heat. 14. Let both sides of the dough turn golden brown and remove from tallow. Repeat until all are done. 15. Using the same pan where the meat was browned, pour the sauce mixture & heat up over medium heat – whisking regularly to prevent burning. 16. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. 2. Combine one package chocolate chips and butter in large microwavable bowl. Microwave on high 30 seconds; stir. Repeat as necessary until chips are melted and mixture is smooth. 3. Beat eggs and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until blended and frothy. Add sugar; beat until thick. Add chocolate mixture; beat until well blended. Add GF flour blend, cocoa, baking powder, xanthan, gum (if using) and salt; beat until combined. Stir in remaining chocolate chips. 4. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons 1-1/2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets. Refrigerate 30 minutes. 5. Preheat oven to 325°F. Bake 16 to 20 minutes or until cookies are firm. (GF) Cookbook by Farm Fresh Family: https://www.farmfreshfamilyfl.com GF CINNAMON ROLL RECIPE: Dough: 1/2 cup psyllium husk 1-1/2 cup water warm 4 tsp yeast 2 TBS honey 3/4 cup warm milk 2 cups millet flour 1/2 cup sorghum flour 2-1/4 cup tapioca starch 1/2 cup 1-1 GF flour blend 1/2 cup maple syrup 3 tsp baking powder 3 tsp xanthan gum 2 tsp salt 2 eggs 1 stick + 1/4 stick melted butter 1/3 cup heavy cream Filling: 2 sticks softened butter 1/2 cup maple syrup 3 TBS ground cinnamon Icing: 1/2 cup cream cheese 1/2 stick butter 3/4 cup maple syrup 1 tsp vanilla extract How to make it: 1. Prep psyllium husk and yeast. Mix psyllium husk and warm water, set aside. Mix yeast, warm milk, and honey, set aside. 2. Combine all dry ingredients; millet flour, sorghum flour, tapioca starch, GF flour, baking powder, xanthan gum, and salt in mixing bowl. 3. Add in wet ingredients; eggs, butter, maple syrup, risen yeast, psyllium husk gel and mix well for 10 minutes with a dough hook. 4. Once mixed, lightly flour countertop with GF flour blend. I use Bob’s Redmill GF flour. 5. Take half of the dough and roll it out evenly into a rectangle. For thicker rolls, don’t spread as thin. Spread filling mixture. 6. Using a pizza cutter, cut your dough in even rows about 1-1/2 inches wide. I eyeball this part, it doesn’t have to be perfect. Once cut, roll each piece up into a cinnamon roll. Do the other 1/2 of the dough the same way. Place in pan and let rise for one hour or until doubled in size in a warm place. 7. Once the rolls have doubled in size, preheat oven to 350°F and drizzle warm cream over the rolls. 8. Bake rolls for 20 min covered and remove the covering for the remaining 15 min of baking. 9. Mix icing ingredients together, combining the cream cheese and butter first followed by the remaining ingredients. 10. Lather your warm cinnamon rolls, with icing and enjoy! Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 1 week or in the freezer.
