I will show you how to create the frame, make the bail and create a little bead cage for undrilled stones. I will make a drilled bead option available. I am using some absolutely incredible fluorescent focals. These focals are known as uranium or vaseline glass. The glass is infused with a trace amount of uranium which causes it to glow a bright green under UV light. Don't let the name scare you though, it is perfectly safe to touch and wear as the amount is negligible and less than what humans are exposed day to day from sunlight. I'm Nadja Shields and I have been into creating art all my life, but turned my passion into business when we moved from Eswatini to the UK in 2014. I LOVE teaching people which has led me to teach my art both, online and in physical workshops. Youtube was the next logical step, so here I am :)

This channel is all about teaching wire weaving/wrapping for any skill level. Whether you're new to wire work or have been around the block a few times in this medium, I aim to have fun material and interesting things to learn for everyone.

I cover anything from simple weave patterns for beginners, to more complex wraps for those further along in their journey.
I like to explore all wire work styles and, in turn, like to teach them, meaning that on this channel, you will find a vast variety of styles and techniques like various stone settings, heady wraps, layered weave designs, soldering and metal work to name just a few.
