He was 82. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Calter, and his three daughters, Mimi, Franny, and Jess. Frank was born August 22, 1942 in Philadelphia to Francis and Marie Calter (nee Collins). After a brief time in the US Army, Frank received his BA in Architecture from Drexel University and worked for much of his career as a registered architect in design firms, specializing in interior design. Later in his career he worked as an architect for the State of New Jersey. Frank’s legacy of love, generosity, and community spirit will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched. Jocelyn was not able to attend Philadelphia Public School, but instead, attended the Special People in the Northeast (SPIN) Educational Programs. Joscelyn had close friends while at SPIN (Pam Follette, Josh, and Monica Mae). Her caregivers at SPIN were (Harriette Johnson, Charlet Foster, Leandra Davis, Nancy Kennedy, Tonia Skries, and especially Peg Capasso). They were all very nurturing in the service they provided to the needs of Jocelyn. She spent approximately twenty years with her SPIN Family and grew very close to them. When Jocelyn left the SPIN agency, she moved into the Meadow View Hospice facility. Jocelyn was a lover of desserts and Oreo cookies. She would smile, laugh, and be filled with joy while receiving her snacks. She enjoyed watching the Maury Povich show, and imitated when it came to hearing, “You are Not the father!” Jocelyn leaves many cousins to mourn her departure: LeRoy, Jeanette, Anthony, Deboreth, Denise, Elder Dr. Andre, and Lisa, along with Lily Mae Downing, Patricia Samuels, Bernice (Bunny) Grant, the Meeks, Dowling, and Grant families; from Bamberg South Carolina. He was 79. Mr. Carlin of Wyndmoor was born in Queens, New York on August 12, 1944 and was the son of the late George and Helen (née Mannion) Carlin. He was a graduate of Power Memorial High School and Fordham University and would later earn his MBA at Bryant College. Kevin was a retired computer programmer, and he worked in many areas along the Eastern Seaboard, where he and his wife of 54 years Janis would raise their family and build community: West Warwick, RI; Rockaway, NJ; Charlotte, NC; Hanahan, SC; and Camden, DE. Kevin wrapped up his career as a mainframe consultant for the DEA. Kevin was a veteran of the United States Army. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and Giants and a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus (Faithful Navigator; 4th Degree). A friendly introvert, Kevin enjoyed puzzles and trivia (loved ones knew not to call during Jeopardy), and he couldn’t resist an opportunity to make a joke or a perfect pun. He was a gentle giant of a man who loved his family with his whole heart. Kevin is survived by his wife Janis (née Johnson) Carlin, and their three sons: Kevin Carlin, wife Jennifer; Daniel Carlin; Michael Carlin & two daughters: Theresa Rockman; and Loretta Henry, husband Philip. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Jane, children James P. Lee Jr. (Erin), Jennifer Lee Fiander, and Devon Lee DeRosa (Dominic), grandchildren Eva, Lila, Sophie, Fiona, Callum, Seamus, and Baby “Bean” on the way. He was affectionately known as Pop Pop and Big Jim. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Lee and Anna (Coffey) Lee. Jim was generous with his time serving his community throughout his adult life while acting as a mentor in the organizations most important to him. He enjoyed his retirement, traveling on cruises around the world with his wife Barb, supporting his grandchildren in all their endeavors, and was an active member of the St. John of the Cross and St. Catherine of Siena parishes. His love of Philadelphia sports was legendary; he was there when the Flyers won their first Stanley Cup in 1974 and celebrated the Eagles’ first Superbowl win with his family in 2018. The Birds consumed his Sundays, and the Phils and Sixers made up the rest. Most importantly, Bill’s greatest joy was his family. He always put them first, helping them in any way he could. No favor was too great, and no call for help was left unheard. His greatest legacy is that immense love. Son of Carmela and Salvatore Butera, Mike was born May 3,1934 in Brooklyn NY. He graduated from St. Augustine HS, received a BBA from Pace University in NY and obtained a Masters Degree in accounting from Baruch College. Mike pursued an accounting career rising to a controller for Peat Marwick, Mitchell & Co. for many years. He relocated to the Philadelphia area in 1986 where he served as a financial executive for a law firm, was the co founder of Fax Bureau Inc. and the controller for Network Synergy until his retirement in 2019. Michael married his high school sweetheart, Anne and was a devoted husband for 67 years. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend. Mike was a very giving man and readily volunteered his time to serve in various roles in his children’s schools, his churches and his community. He leaves behind his wife Anne, sons Michael (Teresa) and Richard (Cleo) , daughters Susan (Dana), Annmarie (Sam) and grandchildren Michael, Christiana (Zach), Matthew (Sara ), Anthony and Gregory and great grandchild, Dominic.
