I’m not calling him the antichrist, but whatever spirit touched his tongue in that moment was not in alignment with what it means to be Christlike and it has to be corrected. I acknowledge that he has taught many Christlike messages. This is not an attack on his character. This message was just off…far off. And I am open to critique when I’m off as well. There are so many scriptures that don’t support his statements, but I’ve decided to EDUCATE instead of PARTICIPATE in the online debate. It’s time to do a word study Bible study on tithing. I’ve done a deep dive on tithing already and we’re going to discuss its history, original purpose, and modern day application. For decades, churchgoers have been coerced into tithing. Tithing is in The Bible, but it is not biblical. There is a difference between being IN THE BIBLE and BEING BIBLICAL.
