Por un lado, el productor Gaby Kerpel, pionero en la experimentación electrónica aplicada a la música tradicional, que sigue siendo su fiel compañero musical desde hace unos veinte años. Por otro lado, el compositor Mendocino, Daniel Martín, que sabe crear melodías para soñar e himnos para cantar. Inseparables y complementarios, el trío sigue elaborando esta formidable mezcla en la que los instrumentos acústicos se encuentran con los samples y el rodar de las máquinas. Pero las nuevas producciones no se basan en una fórmula probada. Generalmente coproducidas entre Francia y Argentina, rompen con los géneros demasiado definidos. La Yegros teje nuevos ritmos e incorpora sonidos inéditos en su país, derivados de las últimas tendencias urbanas, así como ecos de reggae y funk. En cuanto a las letras, firmadas alternativamente por el trío, están encarnadas por La Yegros, cuya carismática voz cuestiona un periodo de su vida sacudido por olas de amor y desamor, alegría y tristeza, euforia y angustia, rencor y perdón. El disco está abierto a todos los vientos. Sonarán la guitarra funk y las flautas andinas, el acordeón melancólico y la batería ondulante, el blues tuareg realzado por los metales, los loops house y electro-cumbia, y los fagotes de una orquesta de cámara. El folclore 2.0 de La Yegros, alimentado por su inspiración colorista, a veces tierna o exaltada, ha sido imaginado como un himno al amor y a los sentimientos contradictorios que la acompañan. Como siempre, también se ha concebido pensando en el escenario. Incubado en una tormenta de emociones desbordadas, el álbum es aún más explosivo por la fuerza del espectáculo en directo que lo acompaña. Además de la formación habitual de guitarra, acordeón y percusión, un músico maneja sintetizadores y máquinas para potenciar el turbo electrónico.
