I’m so on the fence.. 👍 on the one hand, I love watching the fireworks and we also light off a few for the kids too! It’s amazing to watch their faces light up in excitement. It would be a shame if it was banned. 👎 on the other hand, how can we as human beings be so ignorant and leave our trash for the city to clean up? I’m aware that your fireworks are probably half way across the city, but would it hurt to clean up around your neighbourhood a bit the next day? Maybe we should be banning fireworks? Also - empty packaging, bottles, party supplies… can’t you just pack it in a garbage bag on your way out? 🙈 🇨🇦- in Canada many cities host a big fireworks display and the whole community comes together to watch them at midnight together! ME 🤫) so we called it a wrap around 9:30pm and went to sleep until midnight! Then we woke up to watch the big display of fireworks from our bed. 🥘 We’ve been pretty sick this holiday season so we had our friends pitch in and we hosted a pot luck dinner where everyone brought a little something!
