She did have a downward turn on Wednesday night, she's definitely feeling super nauseous and seems like she has flu like symptoms - that's the best way the vet could describe to us how she's feeling. But she did perk up a bit today, we spent about two hours outside and that was the most active and happy I've seen her since we dropped her off at the vet on Monday. I'll say this... her condition is still very serious, we're definitely not out of the woods yet, but our hope is that she'll keep fighting. The vet honestly seemed surprised when she called this morning and found out that Tavi made it through the night. But she did & as long as she's willingly to keep fighting, we'll do everything in our power to keep her going. The vet did tell us that besides feeling sick flu-like symptoms she's not in any pain, so we're going to keep at this and see where it goes. Right now we're feeding her every 2.5 hours through her feeding tube, on top of giving her medication for nausea and for her liver. We're also administering I.V. fluids to her 1--2x daily which has been so weird... neither Chad or I had experience with I.V.'s prior to this but slowly we're becoming *experts* cat experts.
