One of these proposed changes is Proposition 6. Proposition 6 would create the Texas water fund. This fund would provide grants and low interest loans for water projects across Texas. The fund is being set up to address concerns about not having enough water to meet the needs of Texas’ rapidly growing population. The Texas Water Development Board will administer the fund.
