Description: Hi there, in today's video, I'm going to show you how to create a custom LED strip cover using vinyl and a vinyl cutter. I'm using VinylMaster software and a US Cutter, but you can use any vinyl cutter you have access to, including the Cricut. The great thing about this method is that it's inexpensive and customizable, and you can use any vinyl color available in the market. To create the LED strip cover, I start by measuring the width of two LEDs and then using that measurement to determine how many LEDs can fit in a single strip. I then use the VinylMaster software to create a spacing template for the vinyl, aligning the squares and adjusting the spacing to match the LEDs. Once the design is complete, I send it to the vinyl cutter to cut out the strip. The possibilities for using this technique are endless. You can create custom covers for LED strips to hide them in plain sight, or use holes cut in another vinyl design to add LEDs to it. These covers can be used in a variety of DIY projects, including home decor, art installations, and even costumes.
