I decided if I need to have the motor running, I should try and catch dinner at the same time! That's what I did. I went crabbing. In this video I explain the break in procedure according to Suzuki. This video was from early 2024. We knew most of the snakehead were spawning which makes them hard to catch on rod and reel. So Max, Ryan, and I brought out bowfishing bows. The bows were backup if the fish wanted to be stubborn this day. We actually caught some nice fish on rod and reel. We missed a bunch of stubborn fish with the bow. Late in the day we spotted a BIG Dragon sized snakehead acting strange in shallow water. We all shot missing the beast the first try. The second try all three of us nailed him! The fish didn't seem right. He was alive, but at the end of his time anyway. First Snakehead landed Bowfishing! Brother Max and friends finally got it done! They tried fishing first. They weren't feeding, so they decided to force feed them! Saltwater Fly Fishing the Chesapeake Bay Virginia Description: We rented a house on the water for a week of eating what we catch. This fished topwater in the am. Then brother Max and I tried a new cut in the evening. The new cut was fire! Fish busting on bait all around. Since the bite was so good, the following morning I decided to try and catch something on the fly rod. Bait was everywhere, but there wasn't any fish on them. I knew it was going to be a matter of time before the fish showed up. I decided I wasn't going in until I caught something on the fly. After 3 hours of blind casting in the wind... It happened!!
