Using careful techniques, we managed to uncover several colonial coins that were buried deep in the historic soil. The thrill of finding these silver coins never gets old - each one adds another chapter to our understanding of early American life! 🗺️ #MetalDetecting #History While scanning New Hampshire, my luck did align, A large copper coin, a thrilling find of mine. The date was a mystery, too faint to see, So I soaked it in peroxide, a trick for me. With the lid sealed tight, I left it to rest, Hoping the process would clean it best. By morning's light, the dirt had gone astray, Revealing the coin in a brand-new way. I don't like the results! I am, exploring history one signal at a time! Just spent an incredible day metal detecting around a historic house that was built over the foundation of an old 1800s hotel. Every beep held the promise of a story from the past, and we weren’t disappointed! From old coins to small relics, each find was like stepping back into the bustling life of the original hotel’s heyday. It’s amazing to think of all the people who once walked those grounds and left little pieces of their lives behind.
