Channel Title: Michael Holt Snooker Coaching Channel Description: Hello! When I first turned pro in 1998 I thought I knew what I was talking about…turns out I was absolutely clueless!!! Since then I’ve been competing (and sometimes beating) some of the best players of all time. I want to use this channel to show some of the things I’ve learnt, demonstrate shots for all different levels and, mostly, debunk some of the most popular snooker myths that fill snooker player’s heads with mental garbage! In my opinion, there’s not many “rules”, I’ve played some amazing players over the years and none of them cue the same. For me, a coach should work with the player and find their best cue action. The place all players need to be mentally is “pot that, to get on that” and to be thinking of little else. You need to empty the mind not fill it!
