Ha ha ha, good joke right? If only it weren't true. That was 18 months ago, and the mice have since transformed it into their own personal bathroom. Matt spends the first few minutes repairing the shipping damage and incorrectly assembled high quality crimper with "genuine" components made by "Enerpac" (not affiliated with the real Enerpac company) and gets to work. This crimper is taking forever to crimp so many fittings, so what does Matt do? If you guessed that he waits until everything is crimped before finally calibrating and upgrading the crimper to make it useful and not torture to use, you would be correct. With the hoses made, Matt waits for the coldest night of the year to begin installing them. Fortunately Matt marked many lines with zip ties that have since changed colors or faded after sitting outside for a year, good luck getting those back together right! Wiring harness, valve block install - Hitachi EX120-2 Description: In this video Matt begins putting his excavator back together, but then wonders if he can even remember what goes where after 2+ years of it being apart. Are 52 pilot lines actually completely necessary? It seems excessive if you ask me. Also, some good luck befalls Matt when he realizes his new wiring harness is missing 1/3rd of the connectors, but don't worry they only connect to unimportant things such as the hydraulic pump. Matt then decides to quickly rebuild the 4 shuttle valves and the main solenoid valve...he will have this thing back together in no time! (spoiler: it took 3 weeks) Now with all that done, it is finally time to install the main valve body and quickly get this machine up and running. Good joke right? Well the real joke is on Matt when his crane immediately breaks leaving it inoperable...hahaha! Will Matt be able to patch the gantry in the most dangerous way possible to get the job completed? As a surprise to no one at this point, the gantry shelter once again breaks and needs to be repaired. Once that is done the tank is reinstalled along with a bunch more hydraulic lines. This video should have really been cut into two parts with the first part being released two weeks ago, but Matt is really good at misjudging how much video he has.
