Having trouble with the line continuously reclogging the Plumber decided to run a camera down in which case he found the line was heavily clogged with wet wipes, he showed the customer and explained this was in no relation to the new toilet the other previous Plumber had sold him. Once the work was complete the angry, ungrateful customer refused to pay the bill. Below is a description of what happened during the call. This customers normal Plumber is out on vacation, he referred the customer to us. We gave the customer our price before we agreed to schedule an appointment. It sounded like this was somewhat of an emergency so we agreed upon a time later the same day, the customer said he urgently needed somebody there. Originally he was under the impression the clog was caused by his brand new toilet the other plumber had recently sold him. When our Plumber arrived and confirmed the clog was not just isolated to that toilet it appeared to be affecting the rest of the house as well he seemed skeptical but The Plumber used our Spartan sentinel sewer camera to show him what looked to be wet wipes down inside the main sewer line. The plumber again confirmed with him the price would be ok before he got to work and the customer agreed to the price. Once the work was completed, the main line was clear of wipes and flowing freely confirmed by The Plumbers sewer camera his entire demeanor changed, he disappeared off somewhere. The plumber called for him and he was not answering. The plumber was taking his time cleaning up hoping he was just getting cash out of his safe or something when he came back and asked The Plumber how much longer the plumber would be. The plumber told him he was done it was time to pay the bill so he could get out on to my next jobs. He told The Plumber he didn’t think it was fair he paid the bill, he thinks our Plumber should talk to the other plumber, the right thing to do would be for the other plumber to pay the bill is what he kept saying. After going round and round with this guy for what seemed like forever our Plumber decided he was just going to take it as a loss and leave. The Plumber turned the supply valve to the toilet off before he left. This customer called him 37 times leaving angry messages. Don’t hire people for service and then refuse to pay the bill that’s a pretty low life thing to do.
