POV Wife Description: A day in our lives. This was a typical day where we would stay in and go out for grocery shopping to prepare for a video (the last taco cart video). I asked my wife to film what she does in a day so we can create a video like this and show everyone what wife also does behind the scenes. </video> <video> Making Korean Galbi (Marinated Short Ribs) Description: Korean Galbi is really one of the star dishes of Korean cuisine. It can be made with any kind of short rib. For this one I used the LA galbi (3 bones) and another kind of short rib with a longer bone (from local Hmart) which has more meat and I prefer it. I used about 4lbs of short ribs. First left the short ribs in water for an hour then washed it. For the marinade I blended: - 10 garlic cloves - 1 tbsp ginger - 1/2 onion - 1 whole Korean pear - 1/2 cup brown sugar - 1/2 cup soy sauce - 1 tbsp sesame oil - 1/2 tbsp black pepper. - Marinate ribs for 6hrs or overnight. The radish kimchi was: - 1 lb of Korean radish chopped - 1 tbsp salt - 1/2 tbsp sugar - 3 tbsp gochugaru - 1 tbsp fish sauce - 1 tbsp sesame seeds - 1/2 tbsp minced garlic - 2 tbsp minced green onions </video> <video> Chicken katsu with curry sauce Description: </video> <video> When he says we have tacos at home Description: During our recent trip to Playa del Carmen we went to a taco place that served tacos like this and it was so good. I boiled short rib, beef cheek, oxtail, tongue, and chuck for 4+ hours in birria consome. Of course the salsas were homemade. Served with queso fresco.
