The person who contacted me didn't know what that meant at the time, but the porn detail tracks with rumors of things that were going on at the time. Somehow, he was still allowed to get credit for his missed classes in 2001, which he would have needed to graduate in 2002. At the time, Gateway did not have a distance education program, but it seems allowances were possibly made to let him finish those courses. Gateway classes had a strict in-person attendance policy, and missing more than a few classes could tank your grade. So, obviously, exceptions were made. Travis is very musically gifted, and it seems that people were willing to overlook a lot to keep him at the school.
