His actions during this battle haunt him as he wanders in search of help. As his mental state dwindles, he begins to see apparitions and hallucinations of the men he's killed and those he left behind. We see his insecurities and fears. His only form of solace is his art, which begins to grow darker and more reflective of his situation.
