Crazy how fast time flies - she was 7 1/2 years old when we bought her and now we already celebrate her 9th birthday. She's honestly one of the coolest horses I've ever met. In the past 1 1/2 years we had so many beautiful memories together. We did so many things with Lily that were new to her. But no matter what, she was always motivated and right there with me. Finally it's here; my summer 2020 video! I hope to get videos posted a bit more often again now. 2020 has been a crazy year so far, probably for pretty much anyone around the world, so I'm extremely grateful that we're all healthy and happy. I could still go on lots of exciting adventures and had so much fun with my wonderful horses. We went swimming, raced over fields, attended competitions and lots of amazing trainings, went on long trail rides, attended our first ever riding camp and I could even spend a whole weekend at my friends place Sarah (@Moyvoon Spirit on YT) with Lily, where we had tons of fun. Lots of competitions and trainings got cancelled as well and so our competition season was much shorter than expected. Just before it was over, Lily helped me to receive my Swiss Show-jumping lesson, which means next year we'll be allowed to finally compete a bit bigger. Lily made it so easy for us when she first arrived as she didn’t put a hoof wrong after over 5 weeks of holidays and traveling through the whole continent. We slowly started riding her again, did our first jumping trainings and finally attended the first competitions, which went so well! We also worked continuously on dressage and her endurance as that was definitely her weak part. In our first 90/95cm class we made a double victory right away . In summer we did lots of trail rides, tried out new things like XC and just spent time together to become a team. In autumn we could qualify for the ZKV Future Program which just started a few days ago. Of course we had also some downs and misunderstandings as this is just a part of the game as well, but overall it was an absolutely perfect year and I couldn’t be prouder of Lily. She’s an absolute dream horse with a character of gold and I‘m so positive and excited for what the future will hold for us. Oh that girl couldn‘t believe her eyes if I would show her this video here. 👀 Medoc is my horse of a lifetime, the pony of my dreams and the best teacher you could ask for. In those 10 years this incredible pony thaught me everything I know about horses today. We could collect 94 placements together and even crazier 46 out of those were victorys. The times he got rid off me can be counted with two hands (despite trying out some pretty crazy stuff at times 🤣). We needed the vet exactly one single time for him so far and after three days everything was fine again. 🤞🏻 I can ask this pony to lay down literally anywhere and he‘ll do it for me. I can take off saddle and bridle and just gallop over the fields and I know he will take care of me. What this pony has done for me is beyond this world. I wish you all the best for the new year 2022. What a crazy year 2021 has been with so many highlights and adventures. In March our family moved into our new home with our own stable, what obviously completely changed our life and was the best decision ever. I love having the horses so close, always knowing what they’re up to and just looking after them completely on our own. In May the competition season could finally start and Lily completely blew me away with a 1st and 2nd place in our very first 100cm classes together. The competition season continued to be amazing with both ponies and we came home with many placements and had lots of fun! In summer another highlight of the year took place, my boyfriend and I fulfilled a long dream of ours. We got our own puppy: Australian Shepherd Toffee. It has been amazing with her and we love her so much! Throughout the summer two friends came to visit me in our new home with their horses and we had lots of fun! In the end of summer, we had a downlight with Coco suddenly getting very ill. He had kidney failure due to medications that he got because of a small injury. We’re very happy and relieved that he made it and is currently doing very well again. All in all 2021 has been pretty amazing and I can only wish 2022 is going to continue like that. We went to our first competitions and celebrated first successes. Also with Medoc I attended comps and competed in a bigger level than the years before, where we had several placements as well. They've been living at the house for a long time already and we're kinda taking them over from the old house owners.
