Garnish with fresh herbs before serving. 🍖 Melt-in-Your-Mouth Meatballs & Potatoes: Ingredients for Meatballs: 2 lbs ground beef mixed with ground lamb 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp kabob spice 3 tbsp olive oil 2 tsp date syrup or honey 1/2 cup water Green Herb Mixture: 3 garlic cloves 1 large golden potato 1 onion Handful of cilantro leaves (food process these together) Pan Ingredients: 1/3 cup avocado oil 1/2 tsp turmeric 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp salt 1 sweet onion, halved and sliced 6-7 golden potatoes, peeled and quartered Cauliflower (optional) Lemony Sauce Ingredients: 3 tbsp oil 1/2 tsp turmeric 1/2 tsp salt 3 minced garlic cloves Juice of 1/2 lemon 1 tsp date syrup 1/2 cup chopped cilantro 1/3 cup water Method: Mix the ground meat with seasonings and the green herb mixture. Form 30 meatballs. Sauté onions in a flat-bottomed pan with seasonings for 2 minutes. Add the meatballs and sear for 2 minutes. Layer potatoes and cauliflower on top. Pour the lemony sauce evenly over everything. Cover and cook on low heat for 50 minutes. Broil at 450°F for 7-8 minutes for added crispiness.
