This is brief summary of why where and how bird strike occur and how we as aircraft maintenance deal with these situations. I just want to let you know that this is not a scary thing. Most of the time you won’t even know it happened. But rest assured that aircraft maintenance will take care of it and get you airworthy again. Ohh one thing I did forget to mention in the video. Most say the swirl on the engine spinner prevents birds…. Well to me that’s a wives tale. I have read documentation in very few manuals but this has never been proven.
