Minimally invasive XLIF Description: Spine surgery is NOT always the answer! But is someone has back pain that worsens with activity, pain going down there leg, leg weakness that improves with rest, or other back and lower extremity complaints; often this is a reasonable and excellent solution. If I needed a spinal fusion, this is the only way I would want it performed. This is minimally invasive lateral access spine surgery using the XLIF technique paired with a 3D robotic exoscope! We use spinal navigation for the screws and provide a circumferential fixation. These types of strokes can result in death or significant disability.
