The gorge, up to 100 m deep, is the work of the Gornervispe river, which carved this impressive chasm through the rock at the end of the last ice age. Access for tourists was first created in 1886 and 1887. The rock, greenish serpentinite, is about 220 million years old. Visitors can explore the depths of the gorge following the wooden walkways along the lower parts of the ravine. The gorge is closed from the end of October till the end of May. The building was renovated between 1976 and 1982. Since 1984, the palace has been a state museum open to the general public, showing interiors with original furniture, objects and paintings of the House of Orange-Nassau The palace was closed for renovation from Januari 2018 to April 2023. Beneath the forecourt, 5000m2 of extra space was created to expand the museum. A glass roof beneath the shallow fountain ponds lets in daylight. The extension provides more space for exhibitions, reception rooms and a shop. Also a new climate control system, elevators and WiFi were installed. The palace gardens take us 335 years back in time. They are exactly as commissioned by the first residents of Paleis Het Loo, Willem III and Queen Mary. The gardens were fully restored beginning in 1970. The estate is situated at a very low point in the middle of the Veluwe moorland. The ideal spot for a palace garden, with water flowing into the garden from higher sources several kilometres away, for its flowers and fountains. The stables square has a 20th-century feel – the time of Queen Wilhelmina and her husband Prince Hendrik. Hendrik loved cars; the building was where he kept his cars. Now, the cars are on display in the coach house. Here you can also see sleighs, carriages and other special vehicles that the Dutch royal family used. Part of the stable buildings is now used by the king’s Royal Stables; it houses horses, just as it did in the past. It is a large, near-symmetric pyramidal peak in the extended Monte Rosa area of the Pennine Alps, whose summit is 4,478 metres (14,692 ft) high, making it one of the highest summits in the Alps and Europe. Under guidance of certified instructors, one can experience freefall. It's like jumping from out of a plane of 4,000 meters of altitude. Each flight lasts 1 minute, which is equivalent to a tandem parachute jump from 4km (13,000ft). From this height the free fall time is 60 seconds. However most standard tandems in the Netherlands jump from 9,000ft and then your free fall time is about 30 seconds. City Skydive has spent several years in developing and optimizing the windtunnels. Each tunnel has four powerful wind turbines with carbon flyer blades to reach windspeeds up to 300 km/h. The view from the Rothorn (3,103 m, 10180 ft) showcases the highest peaks of the Valais Alps. In summer, the Rothorn summit station is the popular starting point for hikes and paragliding; in winter, one of the main ski areas located around Zermatt. From the 1980s it served as the town hall of Ruurlo. Due to the merger with Borculo, Eibergen and Neede in 2005 it lost its purpose. In 2013 Hans Melchers bought the castle and estate and had it thoroughly restored. Because the castle was under permanent construction throughout the previous centuries, the building consists of a mixture of architectural styles. Since 2017 the castle is part of the MORE museum. The main exhibition focuses on the life and work of grandmaster Carel Willink. 😃 Welcome to my channel! Filming is my hobby (no earnings). I focus on the best/bright/positive side of locations. That is why I prefer to film with sunny weather. My original inspiration are IMAX documentaries; these movies give the opportunity to enjoy the scenery reasonably slow paced.

From Januari 2019 I use the 🎥Panasonic HC-VX1 (before: Panasonic HDC-SD60). From April 2022 I also use the DJI Osmo Action (before: Dazzne P2). Tripod: FEISOL CT-3401 with Manfrotto 701HDV head. Editing program: Corel VideoStudio.
