Buy our new book here: https://found.us/creators/tastespellcom?code=tastespellcom <video> Beetroot and Feta Spread 😋 Description: Beetroot and Feta Spread 😋 Ingredients: ✅ 2 medium cooked or baked beetroots (335g) ✅ 200g feta cheese ✅ 2 tsp capers ✅ 1 Tbsp olive oil ✅ ½ tsp Aleppo peppers ✅ ½ tsp garlic powder ✅ salt and pepper to taste Method: 1️⃣ Peel the beetroots and roughly chop them. Place the chopped beetroots in a food processor or blender. 2️⃣ Crumble the feta cheese into the food processor/blender with the beetroot. Blend until the mixture is well combined. 3️⃣ Add the capers, olive oil, Aleppo peppers, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Continue blending until all ingredients are well mixed. 4️⃣ Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. 5️⃣ Enjoy immediately or refrigerate for a couple of hours to enhance the flavours 😋 Tips: For a smoother dip, you can puree the beetroots before adding them to the food processor/blender. If you don't have Aleppo peppers, you can use a pinch of red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper. When stored properly in an airtight container in the fridge, it will typically last for about 3 to 4 days. Serving suggestions: Enjoy the Beetroot and Feta Spread as a flavourful dip by topping it with fresh parsley, nigella seeds, and crumbled feta cheese. It pairs perfectly with crackers or veggie sticks. Additionally, use it as a delicious filling for stuffed vegetables like sweet mini peppers or spread it over your favourite bread, garnishing with your preferred herbs for a delightful treat. Check it out and let me know if I succeeded👍 Ingredients: ✅ 12 Kashmiri chillies ✅ 4 Tbsp coriander seeds ✅ 2 tsp black peppercorns ✅ 13 pods green cardamom ✅ 4 pods black cardamom ✅ 1 thumb-size cinnamon ✅ 1 tsp cloves ✅ 1 tsp fenugreek seeds ✅ 1 Tbsp amchur ✅ 1 Tbsp ginger powder ✅ 1 Tbsp fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) ✅ 1 tsp mace Method: 1️⃣ Place whole chillies in a frying pan and toast for about 2 minutes. Transfer on a plate to cool. 2️⃣ Place remaining whole ingredients in a frying pan and toast for about 2 minutes. 3️⃣ Cool the spices down and transfer to a blender. 4️⃣ Add amchur, ginger powder, fenugreek leaves and mace and blend all spices into a powder. 5️⃣ Use the created tandoori spice mix to make marinade for tandoori chicken. Cut in quarters. 3️⃣ Add 3 allspice berries, 4 black peppercorns, 1/2 tsp mustard seeds and 1 medium bay leaf to each jar. 4️⃣ Load the peppers into the jars tightly. 5️⃣ In a medium pot, mix together water, vinegar, sugar, and salt until sugar and salt dissolves. Cook it until it boils. 6️⃣ Pour into each jar enough of the boiled brine to cover the peppers. 7️⃣ Clean the brim and screw the lid tightly on each jar. 8️⃣ Pasteurize in the oven for 1 hour @120°C 9️⃣ Let it pickle for one week before opening. Description: Inspired by traditional Polish gingerbread, but easier, quicker, and 100% vegan! 🌱 This fluffy cake rises beautifully (thanks to the secret ingredient - tomatoes!) and is packed with warm, festive flavours. We used our homemade gingerbread spice mix for that perfect touch - find the recipe on our profile (Spicy Weekend no.47) Tomato Gingerbread Cake Ingredients: ✅️1 cup canned chopped tomatoes (250 ml) or thick passata ✅️1 banana ✅️½ cup brown sugar ✅️½ cup oil ✅️2 cups flour ✅️1 tbsp cocoa powder ✅️2 tbsp gingerbread spice mix ✅️1 tsp baking soda ✅️½ tsp baking powder ✅️½ tsp salt ✅️plum or blackcurrant jam (for spreading) ✅️100g dark chocolate (melted with 1 Tbsp coconut oil) ✅️handful of chopped walnuts Method 1️⃣Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a loaf tin with baking paper. 2️⃣Place tomatoes, banana, oil, and sugar in a bowl and blend into a smooth, thick mixture. 3️⃣In another bowl, mix the dry ingredients. 4️⃣Fold wet ingredients into dry ones and combine well until you have a thick batter. 5️⃣Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Let it cool completely. 6️⃣Slice the cake in half, spread jam in the middle, drizzle with melted chocolate, and sprinkle chopped walnuts on top. Tip: Only fill the tin halfway - the batter rises well.. This cake is foolproof and perfect for surprising guests.
