If you live in America and are cohabiting, married, have kids, etc., there's a good chance you'll face the family court at some point. Family court handles issues like divorce, child custody, domestic violence, adoptions, and a few more family-related issues. These issues can get complicated, so having a lawyer is often helpful. If you can't afford one, this channel is here for you. I went through a tough divorce where false abuse claims were made against me (the 1st time) to take my kids away. This is a common tactic known as the “silver bullet.” It is designed to disable you in court and put you at a significant disadvantage. I spent a lot on legal fees to fight for my rights. After proving the claims were false, I earned my paralegal license focusing on family law. Now, I help others, especially fathers, understand their rights and navigate family court better. For the first time, Mangum has publicly admitted that she made up the story. In an interview on the podcast “Let’s Talk with Kat,” Mangum, who is Black, said she invented the story about the white players because she wanted attention and validation from others instead of from God. She admitted, “I testified falsely against them by saying that they raped me when they didn’t, and that was wrong.” Mangum is currently 46 years old and is in prison for fatally stabbing her boyfriend in 2011. The three lacrosse players were found innocent in 2007 after it became clear that Mangum’s account was not true. The state attorney general’s office stated there was no credible evidence that any attack took place, as there was no DNA or witnesses to support Mangum’s claims. However, this moment came with a big price—her marriage. In videos that went viral, Miriam jumped onto the stage, greeted the band members, and shared a long kiss with Santos. The crowd cheered, and she even sat next to him for a while with her hand on his lap while they performed their song “La Guerra.” Miriam's husband of 10 years wasn’t at the concert, but he soon saw the footage of the kiss and the couple ended up separating. In a now-deleted post on social media, Miriam admitted that achieving her dream of kissing Santos came at a high cost: losing her marriage. There are claims on social media that there were already issues in Miriam and her husband’s relationship, and the kiss was just the final straw. Miriam stated that she “got carried away by nerves and emotion” and didn’t think about how it might affect her family. Adam Bennefield was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for k*lling his estranged wife in front of her children in Northeast Buffalo. Adam Bennefield had previously served 15 years for kidnapping two women, one of whom was his ex-girlfriend. Bennefield was found guilty of m*rdering Keaira Hudson in November. On October 5, 2022, he sh*t Hudson, who was 30 years old, outside her car on Shawnee and Richlawn Avenues. At the time, her three young children, including a baby, were in the backseat. Hudson was wearing a bulletproof vest when she was sh*t in the head. During the court hearing on Friday, Bennefield argued that having an all-white jury was wrong.
