The Africa Eco Race, the ‘original’ Dakar, pushed me to my absolute limits—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Across 103 hours of riding, upwards of 635km per day, and brutal desert terrain, I managed to finish every single stage safely and smoothly, ranking 25th overall and becoming one of only 56% of moto riders to complete the full race in 2024! This was the toughest, most gruelling challenge I’ve ever faced, with no mechanical issues, just 2 offs, and 4 small drops. My body may be broken, but my spirit is stronger than ever. Huge thanks to my incredible support team, Jor of Desert Rose Racing, and my amazing girls Keri and Anika —you kept me going through those intense nights in the bivouac.
