Combine dry ingredients (flour, oats, salt, baking soda.) Combine the wet ingredients in another bowl (butter, brown sugar, egg, vanilla). Combine dry ingredients into wet ingredient bowl. Add chocolates and M&M. Transfer to baking pan (line the pan with parchment paper) and press dough slightly and evenly throughout. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes (or till golden) and then if you wait for them to cool, they'll become cookie bars. If you don't, and you eat them hot, you'll need a spoon!
