The ferry connects Aomori(青森) in Honshu and Hakodate(函館) in Hokkaido. There are many highlights of beautiful scenery from the train window such as the Akashi Strait Bridge (one of the longest suspension bridges in the world), sunrise in Hyogo, the Seto Inland Sea with its islands, and the detaching scene of the Sunrise Izumo at Okayama Station.
