At our recent concert in Elkview, West Virginia, we were joined by WWII veteran Charles "Birdy" Bird. Cpl Bird landed in Normandy and served as a Jeep driver in the United States Army. He was there for the Battle of the Bulge and occupied the Eagle's Nest.
