This will make a BIG difference! Description: Bitzenburger Fletching Jigs have been around for a long time and they are a very good jig for fletching. However, the Bitzenburger does have some play in in the knob. The AAE Bitz Knob removes all that play making the Bitzenburger much more accurate. It also makes it easier to set up your arrow if you need to replace a single fletch that may have torn off or been damaged. I should've bought one a long time ago to be honest. The AAE Bitz Knob fits the arrow nock nice and snug, no wiggle at all. This is a huge improvement over the factory Bitzenburger knob. Products I use and trust. The Sequel 35 is extremely adjustable and can be tuned without a bow press. Darton developed a way to adjust cam lean using the limbs of the bow and adjust timing using a turnbuckle on the cables. If you are a DIY person and want to follow along on a complete bow build this is a video for you. We do everything from tying in the peep sight to mounting and timing the arrow rest. For anyone who doesn't have a bow press or doesn't have time to run to the archery pro-shop, this is the bow for you. Darton Sequel has a very smooth draw, dead in the hands and is a pleasure to run. I've been very impressed with the performance on target (deer) and how effective they are. When comparing the flight of these annihilator broadheads to a field point, I didn't have to change my sights at all or do any tuning to my bow. This saw allows you to not only cut arrow shafts down to the desired length, but you can also spin test them to see if the arrow shaft has any runout. This is also great for checking runout on field points or broadheads. I like the feature that allows you to clean up the ends after you cut the shafts down, making sure the cut is square to the shaft. The Good and the Bad. Description: We tested the Sanlida Dragon 10 arrows, they are a budget arrow, but we want to know if they are worth buying. I have to say right off the get go, the nocks are not good. If you plan on buying these, you really should plan on installing new nocks before you put them through your bow. That said, the arrow shaft and vanes seem to be ok. We had 3 out of 12 that didn't fly very well and when tested on the Modsaw we found the budget arrows to have excessive runout. Over the years of buying and building arrows, it's not uncommon to have a couple out of each dozen that don't fly great. Who are these budget arrows for? I would say the Dragon 9 and 10 arrows are great for people who are just getting into the sport or people who don't have the budget for high end arrows. Products I use and trust. You can use a flat stone to resharpen them and that will work fine. Or you can use a stay sharp guide that will give the broadhead a 44-degree bevel and make them sharper than the factory edge if you take your time. Sharpening broadheads using the stay sharp guide only takes about 5 to 10 minutes max per broadhead and over time will save you a fair amount of money. I like fixed blades, been using them for years now. I'm not opposed to mechanical; I own several, but I keep going back to the fixed blade. Cody took his deer with the Montec G5, the same one I've taken many deer with, and it didn't make it 40 yards. If you happen to be a fixed blade shooter like we are, I highly recommend sharpening your own and this tool is a great way to start! Products I use and trust. Making sure you have the correct arrow spine will make a world of difference when it comes to accuracy. Description: The Black Gold sights are awesome sights, I own 3 of them. The Bow sight in this video is the Black Gold Dual Trac Sight. However, on my Darton Sequel bows I was running out of windage adjustment. After looking a little closer and talking to the folks at Black Gold Sights, it was obvious that it was a wide riser issue. Bows with wider risers need to have a longer sight windage bar installed on then. In this video we walk you through how to install a longer windage bar to allow the sight to travel further left due to the thicker riser of the bow. There are other model bows out there where this may also cause an issue. The larger sight bar isn't expensive, and they aren't hard to change either. I hope this video helps you out!
