In recent years, as movies and games garnered ever growing fan bases, fans themselves have taken it upon themselves to expand upon the original works. This kind of interaction gives new meaning to the old phrase: an artowrk is never finished, only abandoned. It also keeps cult games alive long beyond their regular lifespan. The NES Mario titles, DOOM, Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat, Quake, Counter Strike etc are all still played by millions in one form or another.
Since mods are not advertised on a grand scale, they rely on word of mouth to get people aware of them. The aim of this chnnel is to showcase some of the best mods in the world and win new fans for the art of modding.
