Description: Initially I couldn't work out how to raise the wiper blades on a Renault Kadjar, so they could be lifted out without scratching the bonnet. Description: In June 2019 I was fortunate enough to be working in Houston, Texas. On one of the days I wasn't filming I managed to have a great day out on Galveston Island. I'd researched it in advance and so visited Lafitte's Cove Nature Preserve as well as Galveston Island State Park. NO MUSIC ASMR Description: Let the gushing water trigger an ASMR experience as you fall into a deep sleep. The river Lathkill runs through the heart of one of the beautiful Derbyshire Dales in England. Here are a few slow-motion HD video clips that I filmed as I followed this small but beautiful river as Autumn approached. I love the main waterfall in Lathkill Dale as it's not too large and you can stand just a few feet away and it really stimulates all your senses. If you're lucky you may spot a Dipper, as they sometimes make their nest behind the waterfall. So if you've ever wondered what lies past the water, it may be a huge world filled with happy Dippers :) Enjoy! </video> <video> Torent Duck (Merganetta armata) on the Rio Quijos, Ecuador. Description: A short video of a pair of Torrent Ducks filmed at Guango Lodge, Ecuador. A pair of Torrent Duck have a quite a large territory along a section of a fast flower river, usually at an altitude above 1500m. In this case the Rio Quijos. It was a privilege to watch them at fairly close quarters as they effortlessly swam and fed in an extremely fast moving part of the river, made even more treacherous with the recent heavy rainfall. This clip was filmed on a Sony RX10 mkiv. </video> <video> Birding in China - Birds and Butterflies of Guangzhou. Description: I was fortunate to work in Southern China for a couple of weeks. Whilst I was working I kept my eye open for anything that moved, mainly birds. I also managed a couple of 'un-planned' trips to local parks. The main locations were; Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Liuhua Park - Guangzhou Yuexiu Park - Guangzhou Guanzhou Gymnasium Park Wong Fei-hung Memorial Hall - Foshan If I can answer any questions about basic birding in China, please just ask. The underground system was brilliant; very cheap, punctual and clean...oh and it can get very busy :) Everything was filmed hand-held on a Panasonic FZ2000, no award winning shots here I'm afraid! I filmed things purely to help with the identification of anything I saw, I find this the easiest way to figure out what I've seen in new locations. If I can grab a small bit of footage and play them back frame by frame, hopefully I can use these for ID. I thought I would upload them in case they assist anybody else.
