While all seems well on the land, things become difficult when too many crows come to visit the farm. Murder of Crows was my Senior Film at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I guess there's no reason it couldn't be both You're never quite prepped for your twenties is all or the overgrown nose hairs or dead childhood dogs A few weeks later, work stayed at home While all sorts of viruses grew Funny how we weren't all that surprised At an attempted United States coup Tragedies don't seem to heal anymore They just happen too often these days Or maybe I'm just too aware of them now And history isn't a phase I think about all my great aunt has seen Cold War and the Nixon campaign Is it sick that the only thing givin' me comfort Is the fact we've always been insane? Are things getting worse or am I just getting old? It's September I don't know where all that time went But I'm thankful I's able to wake up this morning And I can still easily afford rent At the end of the day when the coffee's gone cold And the pain of my sorrows subside I'm grateful I feel any feeling at all That stuggle is what keeps me alive Never did get those groceries today And I should call Sam and Libby... and Mom Thank God for them and all of my friends Without them I'd surely be gone Are things getting worse or am I just getting old?
