Description
Assam is one of the hotspots of man elephant conflicts in India and Golaghat district is most affected district. We are following the Numaligarh elephant herd since 3 years and recording their route of migration and potential conflict areas. We use camera traps to record and study their behaviour while moving, like roles of leaders, females, status of subadults infants in the herd, musth animals, mating behaviour etc. We also focus on other wildlife of assam and National parks and wildlife sanctuaries. This channel focuses on popularising wild heritage of Assam and their conservation isssues.
